Beijing D4 - KFC Breakfast

KFC Breakfast Counter Display

Months back, my office ordered a full meal of KFC breakfast for us that includes the toasted twisters, waffles & eggs, porridge and the riser burger... that meal left a deep-seated notion that i will never have KFC breakfast - a breakfast meal that tastes of "all KFC chicky", even the porridge!? It was too much.

Singapore's kitchen reciped everything around the 'fried chicken flavor' while Beijing KFC cleverly designed their breakfast sets with the conventional, yet popular sausages, ham and eggs.

Porridge with Fried Fritter Set! (¥6, S$1.20)

Century Egg with Lean Pork Porridge

In pace with Beijing's McDonald's, KFC too priced several of their breakfast set at ¥6, S$1.20 only.

As we were going to the Great Wall of China today!! We had 3 breakfast sets to share - apart from the porridge, there was 2 burgers of sausage, ham & eggs that were served with choice of coffee, tea and hot Soy bean milk!

Bacon & Eggs with French Pastry Set (¥10, S$2)

We came back the next morning for their porridge (we like the fried fritter) and a try of their new menu that serves crispy French pastry toast with bacon & eggs.

The 2 piece chicken was at ¥13, S$2.60 only, with a drink of lemon tea and coke throw in! This very night, we came back for a quiet supper... and the fried chicken was surprisingly very nice ;)
