Beijing D3 - Beijing Olympic Park!

More than twice Ric stresses, "You remember to check up the 鸟巢?" or "We going to the 鸟巢?"
"Yes, yes, don't worry, no need for map, i know where to alight at the subway station named "Olympic Green", i assured him... ;)

Beijing National Stadium, or the fondly known "鸟巢"

Beijing National Aquatics Center, the 水立方

And we were finally here!

Yours truly had planned an evening walk at the Beijing Olympic Park! Why this timing? Because you could see these much talked-about venues both in daylight and the night lights! Clever?

There had been a passing evening drizzle, the air was chilled and the wind was strong, i had my windbreaker on the whole night... while we had dinner at the nearby Yoshinoya, waiting for the lights to come on ;)

In the night lights, we could see the bubbling three-dimensional effect of the "Water Cube"!

On the one side of the streets, we have the "blue" aquatics centre, on the other, a fiery "red" stadium; it's interestingly beautiful.

Took a closer and final look of the structure before we retires for the night...
